We are delighted to announce that ICS PY2 student, Alice, received an Honorary Mention at the Globeducate Visual Arts Competition 2024.
The Globeducate Visual Arts Competition on the theme Marine showcased the incredible creativity of our students from PY1 to PY6. After an inspiring display of talent, the children voted for their favorite pieces in each category.
We celebrated Globeducate STEAM Days last week in conjunction with UNESCO World Science Day. Several of our classes had the exciting opportunity to visit The Hub, where they took part in an engaging STEAM activity led by our STEAM coordinator, Maitresse Gabrielle.
For the PYP Unit of Inquiry, "Who We Are," the KG1/2 and KG2 students explored the theme "Every family is special and different." The result was a beautiful family tree in autumn colours.
PY1 are at the end of their unit, 'How We Organise Ourselves', and they've been looking at all the roles people play in making a town run smoothly. Find out more in our news post.
