Celebrating New Beginnings: A Look Back at Our Graduation Ceremonies

Graduating students in red gowns celebrate outdoors with caps tossed in the air, while other groups ascend stairs and walk down a hallway.

Graduation is a beautiful milestone, a time to pause, reflect, and celebrate the closing of one chapter and the exciting beginning of the next. It is a moment of immense pride not just for our students, but for the entire school community. We were absolutely thrilled to welcome so many families to campus to share in these unforgettable moments and cheer on our graduates as they take their next steps forward.

Here is a look back at how our PY6 and PY1 students marked their big days!

PY6: Moving On Up to Secondary!

The PY6 graduation kicked off with a heartwarming school tradition: our graduates paraded through the corridors of the school, lined by students from all grade levels who clapped, cheered, and celebrated their journey.

The energy carried right into the main ceremony. It was a beautiful reflection of their time in Primary, filled with:

  • Fond Memories: Students took the stage to share their favorite moments and laughs from over the years.

  • Gratitude: The graduates gave a very special, heartfelt thank-you to their families for their unwavering love and support.

  • Teacher Tributes: They took a moment to celebrate and thank the teachers who have guided them along the way.

  • Music: The cohort came together to perform two beautiful songs—one in English and one in French—which they proudly chose themselves.

  • The Grand Finale: The ceremony concluded with the ultimate graduation tradition—the iconic throwing of the hats into the air!

PY1: Celebrating the End of Early Years

Our youngest graduates in PY1 had a truly magical ceremony marking the completion of their Early Years journey! These little learners have grown so much, and their graduation was the perfect way to honour their transition into Primary.

The ceremony was filled with joy as the students:

  • Sang with Pride: They delighted the audience with wonderful song performances in both English and French.

  • Personalised Diplomas: As each student stepped up to receive their diploma, their teachers shared a thoughtful, personalised word about them, beautifully linking their unique personalities to the IB Learner Profile attributes.

We are so incredibly proud of all our PY6 and PY1 students. Thank you to the families, teachers, and staff who made these ceremonies so deeply special.

Congratulations to all our graduates—wishing you the best of luck in your next chapters!
