We are thrilled to announce a groundbreaking million euro investment by Globeducate into our school facilities, with a particular focus on enhancing our Early Years classrooms and our mediathèque. This significant investment reflects our unwavering commitment to providing our students with the best possible learning environment.
Our revamped Early Years classrooms will be equipped with ergonomic furniture, interactive learning tools, and easy indoor-outdoor access, to create dynamic spaces that inspire collaboration, creativity, and innovation for our youngest learners.
Across the whole school we will also be introducing interconnecting doors linking English and French classrooms. With this ability to merge two classrooms when necessary, we can readily incorporate combined lessons, group activities, and projects. Our main focus will always be on separate English and French lessons with two teachers, but current research shows that there are benefits to bringing students together for short periods of time at specific stages in their learning to expose them to both languages simultaneously.
Furthermore, our mediathèque will undergo a transformation to become a vibrant hub of knowledge and exploration, featuring an extensive collection of resources, comfortable reading areas, and modern amenities to support research and independent study for our eldest students.
This investment reaffirms Globeducate's dedication to excellence in education and ensures that our students have access to the resources they need to thrive academically and personally.
Head of School Gina Bianchi says: "I'm so proud to announce the renovations to current and future ICS families and beyond, we are excited to witness the positive impact this will have on our school community for years to come."
