ICS is delighted to welcome Gaela Boulter to our Early Years Team from September. Gaela is an English teachers who has worked in the UK for 30 years and has experience in independent private schools.
Gaela shares with us:
After a childhood in Britanny where I was born and grew up, I have spent nearly 30 years in England (in Hertfordshire) where I was trained as a primary school teacher with a Post-Graduate Diploma inEducation (3-11). I am married with two grown-up children and am very fond of nature.
I have loved teaching in different settings and have particularly enjoyed my last 16 years in a vibrant, independent private school. I have taught across all ages and have a particular interest for 3 to 8 years old education. Teaching children from different backgrounds and nationalities has been a very rewarding part of my career.
In the classroom, I strive to create a culture of trust, calm, and mutual regard where an enquiring mind can flourish, at its own rhythm.
I now feel so excited to join ICS Côte d’Azur, my first international school. After teaching a mainly British curriculum with strong emphasis on academic achievement, skills and attitudes, community and well-being, I look forward to contributing to our IB World School.
I am so pleased to be back in my beloved native country, with a new exciting curriculum to teach and within a caring, multicultural community.
