PY5 Students Participate in WWF Globeducate Eco Quiz

On Thursday the 23rd of March, PY5 students participated in the WWF Wild Wisdom Quiz. Each year the WWF invites Globeducate Primary School students to join in this fun challenge to learn all about the science of sustainability.

 

The quiz promotes student awareness and increases knowledge on how we can take action to save the planet. It explores how climate change and biodiversity loss is impacting our planet's forests, oceans, food and farming.

 

Our team leaders were Katie, Ethan and Vladimir who represented PY5 on screen, whilst their classmates also did the quiz behind the scenes.

 

Vladimir said "Some of the questions were quite hard but we still had fun playing. It helped us with our PYP work as we have been studying habitats"

 

“It was wonderful to see so many students, teachers and schools join us for the WWF Wild Wisdom Quiz as we were joined by 44 teams, representing 21 schools across Andorra, Spain, Cyprus, Italy, France, Portugal and UK. There was certainly a great range of interesting facts and information to be explored themes of wildlife, places, climate change and habitats. From the excited smiles and cheers from the students, it seemed they all enjoyed the quiz,” Oanh Crouch, Director of Education.
