WARM WELCOME TO THE ICS TEAM JESSICA!

Hello to the ICS community, my name is Jessica Kasa-Vubu.

After 20 years living abroad in Africa (DRC, Congo, Senegal, and beyond), my family and I have chosen to settle permanently in this beautiful Alpes-Maritimes region that means so much to us.

Coming from a multicultural background enriched by travel and meaningful connections, I define myself as a global citizen. I have worked as an early years and primary teacher in Congo and Senegal within the AEFE network (French Agency for Teaching Abroad).

I am delighted to join the team at ICS Côte d'Azur for this upcoming school year. I was immediately drawn to the school's uniquely multicultural and stimulating environment, as well as its commitment to nurturing curious, globally-minded young learners, a philosophy that deeply resonates with my own journey.

In the classroom, I make it a priority to create a warm, respectful atmosphere where every child looks forward to coming to school each morning. As an advocate of flexible seating and active learning methodologies, my aim is to guide students towards independence. My role through the curriculum is to help them discover their strengths and unique qualities, empowering them to become active participants in their own learning.
