See our student's submissions to the Globeducate Visual Arts Competition 2022 on the theme of 'movement', and find out which student received an honorary mention! 

PY1, PY2, and PY3 students have been exploring traditional celebrations around the world as part of the school's programme to teach students international mindedness and diversity.

Many of our students have passions and hobbies that they would like to explore at school outside of class time, so we designed clubs and tournaments during break times to keep their minds and bodies occupied.

Our STEAM Days, organised around UNESCO World Science Day on Thursday 10th November, celebrated the skills and knowledge students develop when they engage in projects that combine science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics.

PY4 and PY5 have recently had the opportunity to take learning beyond the classroom, with trips to the Museum of Sport in Nice, and the ‘Centre International de Valbonne’ (CIV school) for a local Science Festival.

All of our students participated in a community project this month to brighten up a local retirement home with their artworks about "a better world".

On Friday 20th May our PY6 students had the privilege of participating in the first SONUM (Model United Nations) held in this region for students from primary schools. It was a fantastic learning experience for our students who enjoyed every minute.

Two of our PY5 students were thrilled to join the Globeducate France Robotics Challenge on May 10th. This event gathered 32 teams from 8 schools all over France, with most of the teams on site in Paris, and our students joining online

From Monday 2nd to Friday 5th of May, 33 ICS Côte d'Azur students, accompanied by four members of staff, spent five days in the mountains for their residential trip. After two years of limited trips and opportunities due to COVID, all the students and teachers were grateful to be out in nature once again.

Eco-Schools is the world's largest environmental awareness programme. Our PY6 students are working hard to obtain the famous 'Green Flag' by helping us become an Eco-School.

From the 17th to the 21st January ICS Côte d’Azur turned into a veritable haven for book lovers as we celebrated reading week. From our youngest students in KG1, to our eldest in PY6, everyone got involved in activities designed to promote and celebrate the love of reading.

The final stage of the robotics challenge organised by GLOBEDUCATE in France, will take place on 10th May this year. Primary school will participate in this event, with a total of 35 teams and more than 100 students.

ICS Côte d'Azur Primary students joined 20 other Globeducate schools to compete online in the annual WWF-Globeducate Quiz on 13^th January.
