The Globeducate Visual Arts Competition on the theme Marine showcased the incredible creativity of our students from PY1 to PY6. After an inspiring display of talent, the children voted for their favorite pieces in each category.

We celebrated Globeducate STEAM Days last week in conjunction with UNESCO World Science Day. Several of our classes had the exciting opportunity to visit The Hub, where they took part in an engaging STEAM activity led by our STEAM coordinator, Maitresse Gabrielle.

For the PYP Unit of Inquiry, "Who We Are," the KG1/2 and KG2 students explored the theme "Every family is special and different." The result was a beautiful family tree in autumn colours.

PY1 are at the end of their unit, 'How We Organise Ourselves', and they've been looking at all the roles people play in making a town run smoothly. Find out more in our news post.

Last week, our PY4 students embarked on an exciting adventure to the Ile Sainte Marguerite, an island off the coast of Cannes. Learn more about their experience in our news post. 

In September, our STEAM & Eco Coordinator Gabrielle Dinocourt was invited to Gothenburg, Sweden to participate in a cross-European project on heritage and sustainability through generations. Read more about this exciting initiative in our post.

Last week, our Head of School Gina Bianchi and our Head of Early Years and Safeguarding Morgane Sherlen met with students from PY2 to PY6 to discuss the important issues of friendships, bullying and self esteem.

Last week we said goodbye to the graduating class of 2024. They shared their favourite memories of ICS and passed the flame to PY5. 

We are thrilled to announce that ICS has been awarded the Eco Schools silver flag for its contributions to sustainability and environmental education during the school year 2023-2024. 

We are excited to announce the winners of our recent PlayHub logo competition. The design will be printed around the school and on our PlayHub recess t-shirts!

The atmosphere was electric during ICS' sports-themed End of Year Show on June 14th. Students from all classes participated, celebrating a fantastic year at school and the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics.
