PY5 Publisher’s Breakfast

Our PY5 students have been working hard at their literacy skills by writing short stories in English and French. To celebrate their achievements, they invited their parents to join them for a ‘publisher’s breakfast’ on World Book Day.

Globeducate Energy Campaign: 7 Changes over 7 Days

From the 23rd to the 27th January, all Globeducate Schools in France participated in an awareness campaign focused on making small changes to our daily habits to reduce energy consumption at school and at home.

Many of our students have passions and hobbies that they would like to explore at school outside of class time, so we designed clubs and tournaments during break times to keep their minds and bodies occupied.

Celebrating UNESCO World Science Day

Our STEAM Days, organised around UNESCO World Science Day on Thursday 10th November, celebrated the skills and knowledge students develop when they engage in projects that combine science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics.

PY4 and PY5 have recently had the opportunity to take learning beyond the classroom, with trips to the Museum of Sport in Nice, and the ‘Centre International de Valbonne’ (CIV school) for a local Science Festival.

PY6 Attend First Ever Primary School MUN

On Friday 20th May our PY6 students had the privilege of participating in the first SONUM (Model United Nations) held in this region for students from primary schools. It was a fantastic learning experience for our students who enjoyed every minute.

Two of our PY5 students were thrilled to join the Globeducate France Robotics Challenge on May 10th. This event gathered 32 teams from 8 schools all over France, with most of the teams on site in Paris, and our students joining online

From Monday 2nd to Friday 5th of May, 33 ICS Côte d'Azur students, accompanied by four members of staff, spent five days in the mountains for their residential trip. After two years of limited trips and opportunities due to COVID, all the students and teachers were grateful to be out in nature once again.
