On Thursday the 23rd of March, PY5 students participated in the WWF Wild Wisdom Quiz. Each year the WWF invites Globeducate students to participate in this fun challenge to learn all about the science of sustainability.

On Sunday April 2nd 2023, we were delighted to sponsor the Mimosa Mini Runners event in the Stade de Bouillides, alongside ISN Nice and Mougins School. Over 10,000€ for children's cancer charities was raised at this special event.

PY5 students took a trip to Monaco to visit a waste water plant as part of their investigation into how sustainable resources allow us to preserve the environment.

As part of their third Unit ‘Where we are in place and time’ PY6 students worked on self-expression literacy skills in the form of diary writing, which were then applied to an investigation where they imagined a diary of a famous explorer.

Our PY5 students have been working hard at their literacy skills by writing short stories in English and French. To celebrate their achievements, they invited their parents to join them for a ‘publisher’s breakfast’ on World Book Day.

Our STEAM Days, organised around UNESCO World Science Day on Thursday 10th November, celebrated the skills and knowledge students develop when they engage in projects that combine science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics.

PY4 and PY5 have recently had the opportunity to take learning beyond the classroom, with trips to the Museum of Sport in Nice, and the ‘Centre International de Valbonne’ (CIV school) for a local Science Festival.
