Toggle Language English to French
The Parent Association of our bilingual preschool and primary school contributes outstandingly to the warm and welcoming family environment characteristic of our school.
ICS Côte d’Azur International School parents play an integral role in our school community, where they are partners in their children’s education. Our families connect with the school at the community level through a wide range of events.

A community of families
At ICS, the Parent Association supports the school community by fostering connections between families, organising events, and encouraging parent involvement. They collaborate closely with the school to enhance communication, support initiatives, and create opportunities for parents to contribute to school life, helping build a strong, engaged, and connected community.
The Parent Association also organises fundraising to support school initiatives, such as purchasing new library books, games, and activities that enrich the students’ learning and play experiences.

Parent Liaisons
Parent Liaisons play an important role in strengthening the connection between families and the school community. Each grade level has dedicated Parent Liaisons who act as a bridge between parents, teachers, and leadership, while also working closely with the Parent Association.
Parent Liaisons contribute by keeping families well-informed, encouraging participation, and supporting community events such as the Winter Wonderland. They also meet with the Parent Association and school leadership four times a year to discuss parent engagement and upcoming initiatives, ensuring that the voices of parents are always part of the conversation.
Parent-teacher communication
Our head of school warmly welcomes any parents joining our community of families.
Whether it’s a coffee morning, a monthly learning celebration assembly or a family feel-good community event, there are many opportunities for everyone to get together.
Teachers at our bilingual primary school maintain regular communication with parents, primarily through Seesaw. Seesaw is a world- renowned learning platform that supports parent-teacher-student communication, even across language barriers. Seesaw has a wide range of functions; students can create digital portfolios, complete home learning assignments, and work on collaborative projects. Families can log in to observe their child's progression and celebrate their successes.
Parent-teacher conferences, held twice a year, reinforce the partnership between home and school that supports a child's educational journey.
