The parents’ association of our bilingual preschool and primary school contributes outstandingly to the warm and welcoming family environment characteristic of our school.
ICS Côte d’Azur International School parents play an integral role in our school community, where they are partners in their children’s education. Our families connect with the school at the community level through a wide range of events.
A community of families
As an IB World School we promote the celebration of international cultures; our diversity is more than a school value; it is one of our greatest strengths.
We come together for regular events held on campus including: Fall Fest, Winter Wonderland, Carnival, International Day and the End of Year Show.
Parent representatives
Every pre-school and primary class has a parent representative who we value and who plays an important role in our communications network.
This group serves as an important liaison between families and the school, and members are invited to participate in meetings to discuss key topics throughout the year.
Parent-teacher communication
Our head of school warmly welcomes any parents joining our community of families.
Whether it’s a coffee morning, a monthly learning celebration assembly or a family feel-good community event, there are many opportunities for everyone to get together.
Teachers at our bilingual primary school maintain regular communication with parents, primarily through Seesaw. Seesaw is a world- renowned learning platform that supports parent-teacher-student communication, even across language barriers. Seesaw has a wide range of functions; students can create digital portfolios, complete home learning assignments, and work on collaborative projects. Families can log in to observe their child's progression and celebrate their successes.
Parent-teacher conferences, held twice a year, reinforce the partnership between home and school that supports a child's educational journey.
